TRADITIONAL SHORTBREAD
The classic 1,2,3 shortbread recipe that has been handed down for generations. Made with pure New Zealand butter which gives the rich taste and golden yellow colour that Glendenings cookies are famous for.

CHOCOLATE AND GINGER SHORTBREAD
This variety adds lots of dark chocolate morsels and that zing of ginger to the basic recipe. A hit for chocolate lovers!

MANUKA HONEY SHORTBREAD
New Zealand’s most well-known honey, famous for its strong flavour and health-giving properties, melds perfectly with the basic shortbread recipe. The honey creates a crunchier texture to this aromatic variety.

HOROPITO AND LEMON SHORTBREAD
Horopito is the pepper tree of the New Zealand native bush. This mild herb blends well with lemon to provide a unique and distinctive taste. The horpoito flecks just speckle the cookies and the lemon oil gives a full background flavour.

CAPPUCCINO SHORTBREAD
Cappuccino is made from beans we source from local tea and coffee purveyors, Pomeroy’s. The beans are milled just prior to mixing into the shortbread dough, and then baked. The buttery shortbread mix and the crushed coffee beans…a perfect partnership!

TRIPLE CHOCOLATE SHORTBREAD
Surely the ultimate in cacao experience. We have packed twice as much chocolate cocoa powder into this confection and added twice as many chocolate morsels, while keeping true to the original recipe.

ALMOND SHORTBREAD

BLUE BORAGE HONEY SHORTBREAD
It’s the little blue flowers of this plant that provide the distinctive sweetness of Blue Borage Honey. This gives the cookies a lovely light flavour.

REWAERWA HONEY SHORTBREAD
Rewarewa Honey is milder than Manuka Honey, this variety is smoother with its own distinctive flavour that carries over into the shortbread.

KAWAKAWA AND VANILLA SHORTBREAD
Another special New Zealand experience. Kawakawa, or bush basil, is blended into the shortbread with pure, natural vanilla essence as an accompaniment.

DOUBLE CHOCOLATE AND CHILLI SHORTBREAD
